The Early Career Mathematicians' Group, and how it all began!

One of the key action points arising from this was for the atten-dees to continue the various discussions by establishing an e-mail forum (we did not have Facebook then!) and the "to do" list was divided with each section having a champion. Initially we had over twenty topics that we wanted to progress and these ranged from Chartership to Mentoring. It is a fantastic achievement that many of the initial ideas have been implemented but there is still an ever growing list so we are always on the look out for new people to join the party.
