Mundra UMPP loans agreed

Tata Power's coal-fired 4.25 billion dollars Mundra ultra mega power project (UMPP) is pushing forward ahead of schedule and some of the debt funding for the project has now been put in place. Tata Power is understood to have finalised agreements with a consortium of external lending agencies to fund the foreign currency part of the 3.2 billion dollars debt for the project.
