Drummond rejects new vessel nominations

Drummond told customers this week that it is not accepting any new vessel nominations at its congested port, which has received no coal for three weeks because of strike action by Fenoco railroad workers. The strike has prevented at least 2.3mt of railings from Drummond's La Loma mine and Xstrata's Calenturitas mine to Puerto Drummond and Xstrata's Prodeco port. Fenoco can rail up to 136,000t/day, of which 85,000-90,000t comes from Drummond and the rest from Prodeco.
