US coking coal exports (to destinations excluding Canada), were 2.06mt in February, down 19 percent (0.39mt) on January's shipments, and 15 percent (0.37mt) short of last February's figure, according to customs statistics. Deliveries to the EU fell by a fifth to 1.24mt, with the UK's take slipping by 69 percent (0.l4mt) to 63,032t. Shipments to Italy fell by a third to 0.19mt, while France's take was halved to 84,558t. Exports to Poland grew by 61 percent to 0.11mt, while shipments to Germany almost tripled to 0.22mt.
