September South African exports fall as China dwindles

Ssouth African bituminous coal exports fell for the second consecutive month in September as shipments to China reached their lowest level for 16 months, according to the latest customs data. It shows South Africa exported 5.82mt in the month, a 4% fall on September 2011 shipments of 6.04mt and 0.3mt lower than 6.1mt exported in August this year.
