In the global oil and gas tubulars markets, the large-diameter linepipe market is the strongest at the moment. Butthe growth is uneven across the markets with particular regions, or countries, displaying robust demand while others still struggle. Indeed, Russian linepipe production continues to set new records despite weakness in the overall CIS market and cancellation of the South Stream project. Linepipe utilisation rates remains high for all domestic producers supported by continuing shipments for a number of local projects includingSouth Corridor, Bovanenkovo- Ukhta and the Power of Siberia.
