The outlook for large-diameter linepipe demand for 2016, globally andin North America remains strong despite the low energy prices, butpricing continues to weaken with declines seemingly picking up pacein the fourth quarter of 2015. Indeed, MBR has dropped our benchmarkdomestic LSAW and HSAW pricing again this month. Import offerscontinue to come in at prices of at least $300/tonne below domestic.Moreover, LSAW and HSAW are generally equal on price at this point withX65 tonnage of Asian or Turkish origin on offer to the USA for around $700/tonne c&f US Gulf Coast.
