North American market vulnerable to global ERW linepipe weakness

Early this month, the US department of Commerce completed the tradeinvestigation, which was filed in October 2014, on South Korean andTurkish-origin ERW linepipe of 24” OD and below. The final duties weredetermined with South Korean producers receiving (AD) antidumping dutiesonly and Turkish producers receiving both AD and countervailing (CVD)duties.
