Hunnu bid highlights Oz Mongolian connection

THAILAND'S banpu HAS again raided the Australian coal sector, with an 477m Australia dollars (496m dollars) cash bid for quoted Hunnu Coal. But the bid tar gets not so much Australia's coal growth as Mongolia's where Hunnu holds several well-regarded prospects. The bid has thrown the spotlight on the Australian coal sector's 'Mongolian connection/ with two other significant quoted companies - Aspire Mining and Xanadu Mines - already causing acquisitive interest.
