Ferro-vanadium prices have come under increased pressure this month, with prices exhibiting further declines in the key consuming areas. US ferro-vanadium prices have retreated to $12.00-13.20/10 in December, down from $12.70-13.25/lb last month. We understand the price declines have come as a result of stock liquidations as suppliers seekto generate cash and reduce stocks before the end ofthe year, with some su ppliers reported to be very aggressive.
