Global aude steel production expected to be mixed regionally August

MBR believes global crude steel output was mixed regionally through August, following an increase of1.7%year-on-year in July. Ferro-alloy demand continued to be driven by stronger levels of economic growth in the USA, and in turn, steel production. Preliminary data also indicates that Chinese crude steel output rose in August accordingto the provisional data estimates of the National Bureau of Statistics owingto a surprising rise in non-CISA membersupply, further driving demand forferro-alloys.
