UNITED STATES (US) thermal and metallurgical coal exporter Alpha Natural Resources was the most prolific shipper from the east coast in October, according to data from shipbroker T Parker Host. Alpha, currently in the middle of US federal government bankruptcy proceedings, shipped 0.859 mt of metallurgical coal in the month. Xcoal shipped 0.491 mt of met coal and 87,9791 of thermal coal.
