coal imports into the Iberian Peninsula are expected to reach 15.8-16.7mt in 2014, according to Daniel Gonzalez-Ipina from Gas Natural Fenosa. Gonzalez Ipina spoke at the IHS McCloskey European Coal Outlook Conference in Nice, France. Spain will import a greater share of the coal, between 11.5-12.1mt, with Portugal receiving 4.3-4.6mt.
