Vanadium prices rebounded in December, trading 5.4% higher month-on-month in Europe. Prices were supported by rebounds in the steel market through late November that saw mills in Europe, Asia and the USA all successfully push through higher prices. Supply-side issues are forcing prices higher in China with the pass-on from lower vanadium pentoxide production starting to leave material scarce.
