Developments in the Russian meat industry

Since the collapse of the USSR, the meat industry has practically restored its capacity, thanks to huge government investments in the establishment of new small and medium-sized enterprises and projects implemented in the field of agriculture. Huge financial support firom the state has allowed Russian meat producers to significantly expand their productrange, improve production technologies, and introduce new products in the market. Until recently, most of the local meat processors purchased equipment, without any clear idea of its fiarther use, however current heads of Russian meat processing enterprises, armed with years of experience in the industry and market knowledge, now have developed specific goals for technology.
