摘要

The present investigation is concerned with the deformation of fiber-reinforced, transversely isotropic, generalized thermoelastic medium with an overlying transversely isotropic, fiber-reinforced elastic half-space subjected to mechanical forces acting on the plane surface. Close form solutions for stresses and temperature distribution are derived by using Laplace transform on time and Fourier transform on space. As an application of the approach, concentrated, uniformly distributed and linearly distributed sources are taken. A numerical inversion technique has been applied to obtain the solution in the physical domain. Effects of anisotropy and fiber-reinforced parameters are shown graphically on the resulting quantities.
