Technology and the Creation of Challenging Problems

摘要

By revisiting existing mathematical problems and modifying them into more intellectually stimulating ones, educators can challenge students to be more actively engaged in the creative process of learning. The article provides examples of using technology for creating challenging problems to motivate different populations of students. Five avenues toward the creation of challenging problems in a technological paradigm are discussed.
