Computation of the Integral Fermi-Dirac Function

摘要

The Fermi-Dirac functions play an important role in many areas of physics. The problem of their computation has been studied for a long time. In the problems of high energy physics it is also necessary to compute some special functions resulting from them. A numerical method is suggested to allow precise computation of one such function which represents the exchange correction to the electron energy for arbitrary temperature.
