New technology for colour shift layers

Applied Films,a leading provider of thin film deposition equipment to diverse markets,has developed a technology for the cost-effective production of colour shift layers (so called 'Fabry Perot Fi.ter') on plastic film by using electron-beam evaporation.These coloured shift layers,when viewed from different angles,change their reflected colour,making them very attractive for decorative packaging and security label applications.
