摘要

The investigated problem concerns temporomandibular joint stress calculation. The numer-ical method of finite elements is chosen for the solution of the problem. A way of dividing nonconvex three-dimensional objects with complex geometry into finite elements (tetrahedrons) is suggested. The algorithm for calculating mandibular joint stresses is worked out and programmed. The results of calcu-lation experiments are suggested. The set of programs can be used by practicing dentists.
