NSW Branch Report--A Site Visit to ANSTO, the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation

On 20 November 2014, the New South Wales Branch toured the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) at Lucas Heights. The site tour was hosted by the ANSTO Discovery Centre, and offered members a brief introduction to nuclear technologies. The technologies included the OPAL nuclear research reactor, the Bragg Institute neutron scattering facility, and the Centre for Accelerator Science complex.
