Aluminium 2006 is dedicated specifically to this metal and its many applications. The exhibition will include plants for aluminium extraction, processing and refining, semi-finished products, and aluminium products for applications such as construction, transport, mechanical and electrical engineering, packaging, and surface engineering. Exhibitors include - Hotwork CT - a supplier of high performance combustion systems to the primary and secondary aluminium industries, including reduction cell thermal baking systems, crucible heating systems, high velocity burners and the cathode block preheating system. This preheating process uses special metal-mesh radiant plaque type burners which radiate onto the top surface of collector bars.
