Extended Call for Papers at Pressure Vessels & Piping OPE 2006 - CHENNAI (INDIA)

Following the outstanding success of the 8 OPE conferences run by Materials Australia in Australia and Singapore, the venue has moved to India. Other organisations supporting the conference are The Indian Institute of Metals - Kalpakkam Chapter & Metal Sciences Division as well as the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam, India. OPE 2006 - CHENNAI focuses on a range of technical issues related to design, material deformation, damage and its ageing behaviour, fabrication and repair technologies, non-destructive evaluation and inspection, failure investigation, assessment and life prediction of components, quality assurance and international trade in the area of pressure vessel and piping. The purpose of this conference is to bring together the multi-disciplinary community of engineers, scientists, academicians and regulatory bodies to discuss the recent trends and future developments in the area of pressure vessels and piping. The conference is structured as plenary sessions followed by parallel sessions.
