Suitable surfaces - The amportaraf role of surface analysis in medical device and pharmaceutical technology

Getting the surface of a medical device or pharmaceutical product right is critical. CSMA's Dr Paul Stevenson looks at how state-of-the-art surface analysis instrumentation can be used to characterise typical products in these industries, from sensors and implantable devices to analysing active coating distribution on beads and particles used in drug formulations.
