The 2003 Acta Materialia IncJ Herbert Hollomon Award has been awarded to Professor Larry L Hench FIMMM. The J Herbert Hollomon Award, for which Professor Hench was chosen by an international selection committee, was established in memory of Dr Hollomon and his dedication to promoting positive societal consequences of science and technology.
