The ballot on whether or not to create an associate membership category for pharmaceutical scientists is now closed. This letter cannot affect the outcome but there is an issue that I feel strongly about. This has been the third "yes vote" campaign conducted by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. The first was by the former Society to persuade the membership to accept the new Charter. The second was to persuade the membership to accept three categories of associate membership — one of pharmacy students, one of non-pharmacists who have an MPharm degree (which include preregistration trainees) and the third is this one.
