The job applicant or agency operator whose CV says he has years of experience with fork lift trucks, is fully trained and is ready to get on with the job - and do you, the agency or anyone else always have time to check? We all know how dangerous it can be to have an operator with insufficient training or experience, or a slapdash attitude to safety ... but putting potential recruits through their paces can be a slow, frustrating business, taking another machine out of use when you're actually recruiting because you're especially busy.
