An essentially disconnected coronoid system is defined as a Kekuleiui coronoid system wliich has fixed (single or (louliln) bonds and lias at least one holo. It is proved that the subgraph, obtained ljy deleting all the fixed single bonds and all the end vertices of the fixed double bonds, is disconnected, and litis at least two normal components, which generuliMa the result for essentially disconnected beny.enoid systems by Gutman et al [4].
