OSHA has scheduled a new series of informational meetings for stakeholders concerning the workplace hazards of combustible dust, to continue soliciting comments and suggestions about protecting workers. This round of meetings - the third in a series addressing the issue - is slated for April 21 at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare Hotel and Conference Center in Rosemont, IL. Since 1980, more than 130 workers have been killed, and an additional 780 have been injured by combustible dust explosions.
