H&H Casting is a job shop foundry with 55 employees. The York, PA, produces aluminum castings for a variety of end-use applications and markets including street lighting, gas meter housings, pump housings, and more. The size of the parts produced ranges from a few ozs. in multiple cavity molds to more than 20 lbs. in single cavity molds. H&H owner and president Kenneth Howe purchased the first FBO III flask-less molding machine from Roberts Sinto Corp., Lansing, MI, seven years ago, just before the 1996 Cast Expo in Philadelphia. H&H also bought a FBO II machine at that time. The foundry apparently has been pleased with the performance of these systems, as they purchased an FBO IIIS at Cast Expo 2002 in Kansas City, to replace the earlier FBO III machine.
