Pollution free yacht to study Mediterranean pollution

Zero CO_2, the world's first hydrogen powered yacht with a fullyintegrated laboratory willmake its first public appearance at the Paris Boat Showin December. Whilst sailboats are by definition environmentally friendly they allrequire auxiliary motors formanoeuvring in ports and asback up in the absence ofwind. Petrol or diesel motorsprovide the power source formost yachts and that's where`Zero CO_2' is different: it isequipped with an electricmotor driven by a hydrogenfuel cell, developed by CEALiten of Grenoble.
