More transparency required.

摘要

A survey of supra-regional trademarked meat and quality seal schemes for meat in Germany is reported. The types of meat covered are discussed, with reference to systems based on monitored quality, regional origin, free range production, animal welfare complianace or organic production. Characterisitics of these schemes are discussed, together with their transparency from the consumer viewpoint.
