Statement on the identification in nature of flavouring substances,made by the Working Group on Methods of Analysis of the International Organization of the Flavour Industry (IOFI)

The IOFI Working Group on Methods of Analysis (WGMA) evaluates the validity of identifications in nature of flavouring substances.Over the period of time in which this work has been undertaken,it has become apparent that a more thorough inspection of evidence is necessary in order to avoid mistaken identification.
