EU-27 Imports less sheep meat; Pig meat export refunds; Management committee meetings; Spain exports fewer pigs, more pork; Prospects for EU meat markets: The European Commission has recently published a report on its projections for the agriculturalmarkets for the period 2007-2014. The report is based on information available at the end of December 2007. The projections do not therefore take into account the decision to increase milk quotas by two per cent from the 2008 marketing year. Also, they do not consider the potential outcome of the multilateral trade negotiations within the framework of the Doha Development Round.
