Continuing advances in precision measurement through coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) can provide a significant contribution to lean manufacturing through better quality control.These machines can enable faster and more accurate inspection of parts, as well as quicker feedback and processing of throughput. Time and manpower required for quality control can be significantly reduced.
