THE LS Starrett Company has introduced the new 797 electronic caliper series designed for precision and reliability and offers IP65 level protection suit able for harsh manufacturing environments. The 797 is the latest addition to Starrett's line of electronic, dial and vernier slide calipers. The calipers have a range of user-friendly features including a LCD display with 7.9mm high characters, zero at any position, data output via optional data cable for data collection, instant inch/mil limeter conversion, manual on/off with auto-off after four hours of non-use and a CR2032 battery with more than 3500 continuous hours of life.
