摘要

A newly discovered enzyme that can catalyze the alteration of the structure of nucleic acid through the formation of phosphotriester and phosphodiester bonding complex was partially purrified from maize developing endosperms. Maize developing endosperms after 22 days of pollination from W64A line were used for this study. The purification process combined the following sequential steps: 15% to 35% ammonium sulfate fractionation, DEAE-Cellulose anion exchange column chro-matogaphy and Sephadex G 150 gel filtration.
