Berry research specialist lauded by growers for 'foresight and commitment'

A leading Canadian small fruit researcher is this year's recipient of the Award of Merit from the Ontario, Berry, Growers' Association. Dr, Adam Dale, who works put of the Simcoe station of the Horticul-tural Research Institate of Ontario (HRIO), received the award at the association's annual meeting. He obtained his B.Sc in botany at the University of Sheffield in England in 1969, He received his Ph.D in botany at the same university in 1974 with his thesis entitled, Biosys-tematics of Selected Species in the feesdale Flora.
