NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ontario — Hillebrand Estates hosted an open house recently to toast the opening of its 2-million dollar expansion project. Included in the work were improvements and upgrades to the winery's barrel room, underground cellars, press house and bottling line. As well, a new welcome centre for visitors — Hillebrand receives 80,000 visitors a year — was opened, as well as an expanded and improved tasting centre and retail boutique.
