Collver remembered for career dedication

Ontario apple growers have lost a long-time leader and driving force within the industry. Keith Collver, 71, of Port Dover, passed away last month. He had been retired from the Norfolk Fruit Growers' Association for several years after having served the organization for 28 years. He joined the NFGA and the Norfolk Berry Growers' Association in 1956 as assistant manager and board secretary for both organizations. He became general manager and treasurer of NFGA in 1963 and then executive vice-president and treasurer in 1986.
