With X, Y and Z travels of 12,000mm, 5,300mm and 1,900mm respectively, the Soraluce FX12000 floor-type travelling-column milling and boring centre currently being commissioned at the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC) will be capable of processing workpieces up to 12m long, 5m in diameter and weighing up to 65 tonnes.
