Donor Spotlight of the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society--Glassblowers Symposium Donates Auction Proceeds

The American Scientific Glassblowers Society this year selected Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society as the recipient of all proceeds of their tenth annual auction, part of a Symposium held June 20-23 in Portsmouth, Virginia. Each year, ASGS holds a technical Symposium designed to keep its members-all professionals in the field of scientific glassblowing-up to date on the latest issues and trends in the industry. One of the highlights of the event is an auction of beautiful blown glass art items, all of which are fashioned by symposium attendees, and other items of interest donated by ASGS members.
