MIDWEST SECTION

The Midwest Section held its Fall meeting on Saturday, October 6, 2001 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.Demonstrations are an important part of our meetings and we would like to thank our members for their time and effort. Presenting demonstrations this time were: Ian Duncanson (Notre Dame)-Tungsten to Uranium Glass Seal, Rick Ponton (Aldrich Chemical)-Construction of a Spindle Adapter, Joe Gregar (Argonne National Labs)-Hand Held Saw Cut, Chris Marshall (Aldrich Chemical)-Construction of a Mercury Bubbler, Gary Coyne (Cal. State University, Los Angeles)-Flame annealing Tips, DAN Edwards (Northern Illinois University)-Multicolored Marble, Tracy Drier (University of Wisconsin-Madison) Construction of an RNA purification apparatus.
