We have all made single NMR tube cleaners with a reservoir mounted to the side (see Figure 1). These NMR tube cleaners have served well but we all know that the Achilles Heel of this apparatus is the 3 mm ring seal at the side of the main tube. When the researcher breaks this delicate seal, they usually bring both pieces back to the glass shop asking if you can repair it. I usually remake the NMR tube cleaner, sometimes salvaging the side reservoir. The following are much simpler designs. The first is made cheaply with no ground joints. The second employs ground joints making both construction and repair easy.
