The Midwest Section held its fall meeting at the well-equipped facilities of Universal Instruments in Palatine, Illinois. Our thanks go out to our sponsors ABR Imagery, Chemglass and everyone at Universal Instruments. I'm sure it was a memorable day for everyone who attended. We had demonstrations by Art Ramirez (No-Blow Sealing), Brandon Whitaker (Implosion & Inside out Pendants), Steve Anderson (Resizing Rectangular Tubing), Rob Lucaszewski (Pulling Small Fibers From Quartz Rod and Their Uses), Tracy Drier (Making Graphite Tools for Fun & Flaring) and Dan Edwards (Le Taster -A Wine Testing Cup & Customized Tweezers that everyone wanted).
