Use of Corian~R for (Wet Saw) Cutting Jigs

Although wood is the standard material used for constructing wet-saw jigs, a much better material is the counter-top product Corian~R. It machines easily and does not warp after prolonged soaking in water. Like most glassblowers, I use supporting jigs with my wet saw to support the glassware and/or to protect either the blade or the saw body. And, like most other glassblowers, I made these jigs out of wood.
