The following National Awards were presented at the 50th Symposium Awards Banquet, on Saturday July 2, 2005 in Indian Lakes Resort, Bloomington, Illinois: J. Allen Alexander Award: Edwin A. Powell; Helmut E. Drechsel Award: Gary Coyne; and Memorial Award: Philip Legge. One additional award was handed out to one of the founding members of the ASGS, Mr. Randolph Searle. As proposed at the spring 2095 Southeastern Section meeting and approved by the President and Board of Directors on June 28, 2005, Randy was named Treasurer Emeritus. Congratulations to all Award Recipients.
