Allan B. Brown Glassblowing Seminar

At the Symposium in Chicago, there were two full days of Regular Member Glassblowing Seminars. I would like to thank my fellow instructors Georges Kopp, Rick Gerhart, and Ed Powell for volunteering their time and for the effort they made to ensure that these hands-on Seminars were informative and productive. We worked as a team to coordinate the program content, to set up the equipment, to instruct the Seminars, and finally to pack up and to make an inventory for the next symposium. Joe Gregar did an outstanding job as Symposium Chair and was of great help to us as was Brian Schwandt, Technical Workshops Chair. I am also grateful to Friedrich & Dim-mock, Inc. who donated the necessary glass tubing and to Universal Instrument Company who provided the glassblowing lathe. A sincere thank you to all.
