The ASGS-SE 2005 spring meeting was held at the Hilton Suites at Lexington Green in Lexington, Kentucky April 8th and 9th and was hosted by Jeff Babbitt and Wilbur Mateyka. On Friday, we visited Lexel Imaging Inc., a company that manufactures CRT's (cathode ray tubes). After a brief introduction, we were led through various stages required to assemble the tubes and observed an actual CRT being sealed on the lathe. After our tour, we visited with our supporting vendors to discuss new products and were given updated catalogs and mailings showing the versatility of their products. Saturday we went to the University of Kentucky where we held our annual business meeting. The new Section Officers are Director - Curt Sexton, Chair - Don Woodyard, Vice Chair - Brian Marko-wicz, and.Secretary /Treasurer - Ricky Harrison.
