Committee Reports

The Allan B. Brown Glassblowing Seminars Committee has been very busy putting together a program that will be challenging and informative for the 2015 Symposium which will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The goal of the Allan B. Brown Glassblowing Seminars is to teach our members techniques in scientific glassblowing that will elevate their skills to a higher level. The highly skilled instructors selected for these Seminars will demonstrate methods to produce scientific apparatus and then assist each student in the fabrication of the same item. While the full schedule to be covered has yet to be decided, we will be spending a majority of time on very specific techniques, and, with the input of the above instructors, we are confident this year is going to be exciting.
